The UnCon 2019 Review: Life is Sweet with Posh
We’re back from a successful launch at UnCon 2019 in Indianapolis, and if you weren’t there, we missed you! Here’s an inside look at our Life is Sweet themed event, from Leadership, to Posh Night, and our grand finale: the Mad Hatter Tea Party.
We go big at every UnCon, from the minute you check in until the last bit of confetti is cleaned up. This year, our events team decorated the registration booth with all thing Candy Land.
We kicked off Leadership with a Willy Wonka themed party for our top Influencers, complete with golden tickets, escape room, games, dinner, and drinks.
Our fabulous Influencers got into the swing of things by sporting their shiniest gold attire, including one of our male Premiers, Jason Kramer. (Yes, guys love Posh too!)
One of the highlights of Leadership is our Breakfast with Tiffany event, where we honor top earners, like Katie Robinson and Krista Ward, with giant checks for earning the Annual Award, Tiffany & Co. jewelry and gift cards, and special recognition from Founder & CEO Ann Dalton.
Influencer Erin Madsen was one of our Annual Award earners, taking home a big fat check for $3,000! One of the most celebrated accomplishments at Perfectly Posh, the Annual Award goes to Influencers who have earned the Monthly Award 9 times in a calendar year, running July 1 to June 30.
Speaking of giant checks, we also presented the IWIN Foundation (Indiana Women in Need) with a $7,000 donation raised by our Influencers as part of a 1K walk/run to help support individuals receiving treatment for breast cancer by relieving emotional, physical, and financial burdens.
Influencers were invited to participate by registering for the Sugar Daddy 1K Run, with registration fees going toward the IWIN Foundation. Then they walked, ran, and danced their way through a Candy Land themed course, picking up bags of sweet treats along the way.
Arguably the most exciting part of any Posh event is revealing new products. During UnCon, this happens at Posh Night. This year we launched 11 new products, including our new vanity supplement line called Knosh™.
One of the benefits of attending UnCon and Posh Night in person is being able to try all the new products before everyone else, and get exclusive product training!
It wouldn’t really be a Posh party without a ball pit. (And in case you were wondering, the rumors are true: Yes, we do have a ball pit at Home Office… and a slide.)
UnCon is always more fun with friends! Lots of Influencers attend as teams (and wear creative outfits, like these cute custom-made shirts to stand out from the crowd).
Saturday at UnCon we were joined by our keynote speaker, best-selling author of Girl, Wash Your Face and Girl, Stop Apologizing, Rachel Hollis! Select Influencers were invited to participate in a photo-op with Rachel afterwards.
Also in attendance this year, writer, speaker, and self-proclaimed nonsense dancer Alison Faulkner. She dropped by to teach our Influencers tips on social media marketing and how to be your own brand.
UnCon wrapped up with the Mad Hatter Tea Party, an event for all to receive recognition, revel with newfound friends, and show off amazing Alice in Wonderland themed costumes.
We especially loved this fun group of Alices who pulled out all the stops as we journeyed through the looking glass.
Influencers who weren’t recognized at our Leadership Breakfast with Tiffany event received recognition at the Mad Hatter Tea Party and took home personalized Posh totes and other gifts.
Want to join in the fun next year? Home Office’s own Kelly Wideman kicked off our UnCon 2020 announcement with a mini yoga class, which is fitting because next year’s theme is Unplugged in Louisville, Kentucky! Stay tuned, registration opens May 1 for Influencers and guests. Unplugged UnCon 2020 takes place July 30–August 1. See you there!
